I just went to Heirloom Café in the Mission for the second time, this time on a date, and was again blown away by the food, service, wine list and atmosphere. Wood tables and low lighting make it a great casual fine dining spot. And the noise level is perfect for having long conversations with the one you like.
Guys: wear a great button down or blazer with nice jeans. Gals: wear a cute dress and low heels.
*Go earlyish. Dinner is served until 10pm, even on weekends. If you’re looking for a lively nightcap post-dinner, head to The Homestead, just two blocks up the street.
